Banyan Global was a subcontractor to Population Services International (PSI) on the Integrated Social Marketing Program (ISMP) in Madagascar. The main objective of the program was to use social marketing principles to improve the health of the Malagasy people, particularly vulnerable groups such as children below 5 years of age, women of reproductive age, youth between 15-24 years of age, and people living in underserved areas. Banyan Global worked to strengthen business management capacity and access to finance for private health providers participating in PSI’s Top Réseau social franchise. Banyan Global also collaborated with PSI to strengthen the financial viability of its rural community health product distributors.
