uMzinyathi is a district located in the west of South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province. uMyzinyathi district’s health facilities track medicine availability using the National Surveillance Centre (NSC). Through the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Global Health Supply Chain Program – Technical Assistance (GHSC-TA)’s provincial support team, Ms. Mazibuko and other provincial and district managers were mentored in the use of the NSC to optimize pharmaceutical services.
