Banyan Global leads the access to finance component of the Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) Plus project in Madagascar, supporting AccèsBanque Madagascar in the use of its USAID Development Credit Authority guarantee. In Quarter 3 of this year, AccèsBanque Madagascar saw a 10 percent increase in the number of health loans compared to the same period last year. Now, the bank has four Development Credit Authority-backed loans and 23 non-Development Credit Authority-backed health loan disbursements.
