On February 25, 2022, USAID’s Gender Integration Technical Assistance Task Order II team presented the initial results of an economic growth and agricultural development gender analysis to more than 35 United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Haiti mission staff. The mission commissioned the analysis, which focuses on identifying gender equality advances, constraints, and opportunities and providing relevant recommendations on the following sub-sectors:

• Livestock (cattle, poultry, and small ruminants/goats) value chains.
• Environment (watershed and forest management and protection).
• Domestic resource mobilization (DRM).

The analysis report (forthcoming) will inform the mission’s current and future strategic planning and activities in the sector.
