Banyan Global Hosts USAID Women’s Economic Empowerment Community of Practice Private Sector Engagement Event

On December 15, 2021, members of the USAID Women’s Economic Empowerment Community of Practice (USAID WEE CoP) attended a quarterly virtual learning event titled “Women’s Economic Empowerment and Private Sector Engagement.” The event explored how private sector companies integrate WEE into their core businesses and encouraged participants to utilize the information shared to advance WEE within their organizations and supply chains.

Gwen Snyder, Private Sector Engagement & Women’s Economic Empowerment Advisor for USAID, PSE Support, USAID Contractor, moderated a conversation with two private sector representatives: Lydia Carroon, Africa and Asia Program Lead for the Microsoft Airband Initiative, and Emma Gladstone, Sustainability Manager for McCormick Global Ingredients Ltd.
