The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment hired Banyan Global to carry out a COVID-19-specific activity-level gender analysis to support USAID/India’s REVIVE Activity: to integrate gender equality and women’s empowerment, and to do no harm in its programming to mitigate the severe effects on the poor of the economic downturn due to the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). This report structures its findings on gender equality and women’s empowerment around four questions relevant to the REVIVE Activity.
