Banyan Global was a subcontractor to Abt Associates on MBPH, a four-year USAID-funded project designed to build on, implement, institutionalize, and scale up market-based partnerships for health in USAID India’s key priority areas, including reproductive health, maternal and child health, tuberculosis, hygiene promotion, safe water, and HIV and AIDS. The project also explored new commercial-sector opportunities to accelerate public health improvements, especially for low-income and rural populations. Banyan Global assessed and addressed the business constraints that private health providers participating in networks faced in achieving public health outcomes.
