Technical Assistance for Bankable Infrastructure (TABI)

Banyan Global and its partner, Deloitte, are implementing the five-year Technical Assistance for Bankable Infrastructure (TABI) program funded by the U.S. Department of Commerce. TABI provides technical assistance to governments in sub-Saharan Africa to strengthen their capacity to develop high-quality and technically sound bankable projects for companies, financial institutions, and investors and reduce Africa’s infrastructure deficit. The objective of the technical assistance is to assess Finance and Trade Ministries in selected African countries to prioritize, finance, and tender bankable projects, ultimately leading to increased investment in African infrastructure by U.S. and other countries’ companies and investors. With a focus on supporting African governments to procure investments for commercially viable infrastructure projects, the Banyan Global team is developing a clear, replicable process using proven tools and methodologies that can be applied beyond the life of the program and its selected countries.
