As part of a Citigroup-funded consortium led by the Foundation for Development Cooperation, Banyan Global developed curriculum and training modules to support MFIs affected by the December 2004 tsunami. We delivered a series of training-of-trainer workshops, convened stakeholder meetings, and conducted action research to assist MFIs in developing systems and policies that can anticipate and respond to disasters.
