The 10th World Urban Forum (WUF) will take place on February 8–13, 2020, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. More than 17,000 participants from more than 168 countries will attend the high-level gathering on urban issues. Banyan Global will participate in a panel hosted by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Global Utmaning (Global Challenge), a Sweden-based think tank, on February 9 titled, Achieving Cities for All: Planning for and with Women and Girls.

In December 2019, Banyan Global’s gender and youth team on the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Feed the Future Ethiopia Value Chain Activity (VCA) launched mobile childcare services during project events in its target regions to encourage women’s participation in VCA capacity building activities.
