On October 4, 2022, the USAID WEE CoP hosted a peer learning event focused on gender equality and trade. Presenters and panelists focused on how women are affected by trade and trade policy and, in turn, how economies are improved with women’s increased participation in trade.

The USAID Improving Market Partnerships and Access to Commodities Together (IMPACT) team found an innovative solution to offering remote trainings in 2020. They recorded a narrated version of the training slides and shipped DVDs and flash drives, as well as printed training materials, to drug shops in selected regions.
