Banyan Global, working as a subcontractor on the United States Agency for International Development’s Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) Plus project, kicked-off access to finance activities with partner bank CRDB and other key stakeholders including Pharmaccess, the Association of Private Health Facilities in Tanzania (APHFTA), Christian Social Services Commission (CSSC), and Population Services International. Stakeholders and partners were introduced to the project team. The initial focus will be to develop a portfolio of health loans at CRDB with a focus on private health care businesses that offer HIV services.
