Banyan Global wins USAID/Malawi Learn to Perform Activity
On August 1, 2022, Banyan Global was awarded the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Malawi Learn to Perform Activity, a five-year project that will support USAID/Malawi in its performance management and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL). The Learn to Perform Activity aims to enhance program efficiency and advance learning in support of USAID’s overarching goal of a more self-reliant Malawi that is gender-equitable and democratically accountable.
“Banyan Global is honored to partner with USAID to support improved learning and development outcomes in Malawi,” said Meaghan Smith, President and CEO of Banyan Global. “We’ll draw from our wide-ranging sector expertise across the Mission’s technical areas, our gender- and youth-integration expertise, and our track record of providing USAID with high-quality analytical services.”
Banyan Global and its partners, The Mitchell Group and Invest in Knowledge, will provide technical and advisory services to design and carry out specialized monitoring, evaluation, collaborating, learning, and adapting (MECLA) tasks that support Program Cycle implementation, and will bolster the capacity of Mission staff and select partners to employ improved MECLA practices. Ultimately, Learn to Perform will support USAID/Malawi to make data-driven decisions and strategically steer the Mission’s highly-integrated Country Development Cooperation Strategy toward greater development results.
