Banyan Global Wins Contract Exploring the Role of Social Norms and Women’s Financial Inclusion
Banyan Global recently won a contract with CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor), a global partnership of 34 leading organizations that seek to advance financial inclusion. Banyan Global will be assisting CGAP to understand how social norms have been addressed in other development sectors – particularly in health and education – and how this learning can be brought to financial sector development to strengthen women’s financial inclusion. This study will be part of CGAP’s broader effort to advance work that addresses the root causes of financial exclusion.
