YouthPower Project Implementation IDIQ, 2015–2020

Banyan Global is a small business holder of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) YouthPower Implementation indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, which focuses on the design and implementation of positive youth development programming and policies; capacity strengthening of youth serving organizations and institutions, including governmental and civil society organizations; and support of youth engagement within development. YouthPower Implementation supports the implementation of the 2012 USAID Youth in Development Policy and provides a mechanism to improve the capacities and enable the aspirations of youth so that they can contribute to and benefit from more stable, democratic, and prosperous communities and nations. This mechanism covers a range of functions related to cross-sectoral youth program design, including: project implementation; capacity development of local partners and stakeholders; design and implementation of cross-sectoral youth assessments, piloting of innovative approaches, and documentation of results; implementation of action research and performance evaluations; data collection and monitoring; and training of local stakeholders in cross-sectoral youth project assessment, design, and implementation. YouthPower will address positive youth development across a wide range of sectors, including: health; economic growth; democracy, human rights, and governance; food security, agriculture, and rural development; environment; information and communications technologies; and gender.

All task orders greater than $3,000 and less than or equal to $3 million shall be competed first with small business contract holders.  Banyan Global is the only small business YouthPower IDIQ holder.  Click here for a copy of our YouthPower Consortium qualifications.
