The Technical Assistance and Support for the Africa Region (TASC4-Africa), 2014–2019

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Technical Assistance and Support for the Africa Region (TASC4-Africa) is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract that provides a mechanism to contribute to improvements in the health of people, especially women, children, and other vulnerable populations, in countries in the Africa region through expanding basic health services; strengthening national health systems; and addressing global issues and special concerns, such as HIV and AIDS and other infectious diseases. TASC4-Africa provides USAID with cost-effective access to technical expertise and implementation support to meet its evolving needs. As a subcontractor to Abt Associates, Banyan Global is providing services in the following areas: public-private partnerships; capacity building of local partners; technical assistance and training in financial and business management for health service providers and institutions, linking private providers to the financial and business sectors; and development of and support for provider associations
