Banyan Global developed this slide deck under the Gender Integration Technical Assistance (GITA) II task order as a resource for USAID/Nigeria staff and implementing partners interested in engaging the private sector on gender equality initiatives, with a focus on gender-based violence prevention and response. The slide deck provides an overview of research Banyan Global conducted for USAID/Nigeria to identify trends and opportunities in corporate social responsibility related to gender-based violence in Nigeria. Additionally, it includes tips for implementing partners seeking to collaborate with the private sector, drawing on existing initiatives in Nigeria, and offering recommendations for successful engagement and partnership.
