Banyan Global, as a subcontractor to Chemonics International, supported the development and execution of a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Analysis and Action Plan to guide the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Jordan Economic Reform Activity Task Order 1 (ERA TO1). Using a mixed methods data collection approach, the GESI Analysis and Action Plan were developed to ensure the integration of GESI considerations in planning, implementation, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) for the project’s three main components: strengthening the business enabling environment; increasing exports and local, regional, and international investments; and responding to emerging priorities that impact the Jordanian economy.
