Factsheet: Strengthening Private Sector Involvement in Madagascar’s Health Commodities Supply Chains to Ensure Equal Access (French)
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Improving Market Partnerships and Access to Commodities Together (IMPACT) program works to improve the health commodities supply chain in Madagascar. As part of the IMPACT consortium, Banyan Global supports financial institutions to improve access to financing for pharmacies, drug shops, and other commercial actors, and also ensures that gender equity and social inclusion issues are integrated into all project activities. This factsheet examines the health commodities market system with an emphasis on the private sector and offers suggestions to address inclusion gaps in order to promote equitable access and use of health products.
