Factsheet: Access to Finance and Women’s Economic Empowerment (French)
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Improving Market Partnerships and Access to Commodities Together (IMPACT) program works to improve the health commodities supply chain in Madagascar. As part of the IMPACT consortium, Banyan Global supports financial institutions to improve access to financing for pharmacies, drug shops, and other commercial actors, and also ensures that gender equity and social inclusion issues are integrated into all project activities. This factsheet highlights the market potential these health businesses represent for financial institutions and provides tangible suggestions to reach and retain customers including women.
