Under the Gender Integration Technical Assistance (GITA) II task order, Banyan Global is working with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)’s Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Hub (GenDev) Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team to strengthen MEL integration across GenDev-funded activities, including Gender Equity and Equality Action (GEEA) Fund activities. Working alongside GenDev’s MEL team, Banyan Global contributes to raising the level and quality of performance data, reporting, and analysis across GenDev’s portfolio by addressing common challenges and gaps, increasing Implementing Partner capacity for gender-responsive MEL, and applying lessons learned. Banyan Global provides technical input to evaluations, develops learning materials for Implementing Partner and USAID Mission staff, and advises on the development of monitoring plans and learning agendas.
