Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector Plus (SHOPS Plus) Project, Kenya
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) Plus project provided business training to participating private health providers in Kenya aimed at improving management and operations for growth and sustainability. With Banyan Global support, SHOPS Plus delivered a business management training program designed to strengthen the business skills and bankability of providers participating under the pilot project. The training focused on the role of personality in customer service and business success, management of medications and medical supplies, and understanding competitors and the market.
