Empleando Futuros Meets With Private Sector
On August 14-16, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Honduras Workforce Development Activity, Empleando Futuros, met with representatives from the private sector in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. As part of a series of activities to gauge labor market demand, Empleando Futuros is leading a labor market analysis with the collaboration of hundreds of business leaders and representatives to more accurately identify the technical and soft skills that private sector employers are looking for from youth applicants. Paul Teeple, Chief of Party of the Empleando Futuros project, spoke to La Prensa about the meetings.
