The Banyan Global Innovation and Learning Hub held a collaborating, learning, and adapting (CLA) workshop for DC-based staff on July 10, 2019. The workshop, which was facilitated by Tanya Hurst, Lindsey Spanner, and Matt Griffith, sought to improve staff understanding of the United States Agency for International Development CLA framework, as well as to increase staff capacity to apply CLA. Staff worked in groups to discuss existing CLA practices at Banyan Global and identify opportunities to increase and strengthen CLA activities and processes in the upcoming fiscal year. Moving forward, Banyan Global staff will be better equipped to implement CLA into their work to promote learning, improve programming, and support countries on their journeys to self-reliance.
