In celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8) 2021, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Improving Market Partnerships and Access to Commodities Together (IMPACT) program published this article in one of the local newspapers in Madagascar. The article – Supporting women to contribute to sustainable development through improving access to health products in Madagascar (available here in French) – provides an overview of International Women’s Day; including the annual theme, outlines challenges that women face in Madagascar’s health supply chain, and highlights IMPACT’s role in addressing these challenges while working to support and amplify women’s voices, concerns, and needs.
