Private Provider Networks: The Role of Viability in Expanding the Supply of Reproductive Health and Family Planning Services.

Private provider health networks hold the promise of cost effectively expanding the scale of private practice, and are increasingly being considered as a way to achieve national public health objectives. The Private Sector Partnerships-One project conducted a review of different provider health networks globally, examined the business practices of commercial and donor—supported networks to assess their relative strengths and weaknesses, and offers lessons that contribute to network viability.
